     This $1000 scholarship, named after Charter Brother Willis B. Bailey is  designated for: an Active and Financial undergraduate brothers on all 3  levels of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. (National, Regional, and Chapter); MIP certified; minimum GPA of 2.5 


    OR 


    A minority  male senior graduating from a private or public high school in  Springfield, Illinois; minimum GPA 2.5; having accepting to an  accredited college or university, and also for any collegiate Brother.

    Required Items

    Official Transcripts

    Transcripts from you High School and any College/ University where you have received collegiate credits. 

    Three (3) Letters of Recommendation

    (1) Personal Reference, (2) High  School Reference (teacher/coach/administrator), (3) Community Source. 

    List of involvement as a volunteer in your community

    Provide detail of any work you have been apart of in your community via any social action projects or volunteer opportunities.

    Essay- Brotherhood, Scholarship, & Service

    700 words or less, explain what brotherhood, scholarship, and  service means to you and how it relates to your interests in pursuing  higher education.
